Welcome to a new year
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to make a quick post welcoming everyone to a new, and what I am certain will be an exciting year for all of us. With a record number of incoming freshmen and a record number of transfers, we will all need to be on our toes helping these students be successful.
This will be an exciting year in other ways. We will all need to pull together and pitch-in to help review and analyze our General Education program and determine how this meets the new Student Goals everyone helped establish, and then were approved by Faculty Council last year. We are all in this together and we need everyone’s input and perspective. Look for important meetings to start soon.
Our first Faculty Council meeting will be Friday September 3 beginning at 12:15 in the Exchange on the Greenspring campus. A light lunch will be served.
Wishing everyone a great year!
Art Fifer
Chair Faculty Council
Assistant Professor Information Systems
Thanks for a great year, Stevenson Faculty!
I enjoyed serving you as your Faculty Council Chair – Art Fifer is the new Chair, as my term is over. He will serve during the 2010-2011 Academic Year.
Enjoy your summer!
