Our Statement of Purpose is as follows:
Acting as the faculty advocate, the Faculty Council seeks to:
1. Further the mission, vision, values and diversity of the university;
2. Assess the needs, practices, and policies of the university’s community;
3. Govern university curriculum; and,
4. Propose policy for executive determination.

All that we discussed was the issue of not using Stevenson University as the subject of any class projects or studies, as per the recent reminder to that effect from the Dean of the Faculty’s office.
